Headway Music

Headway Music is an emerging music company. We love music. A LOT. 

Phase 1

Our first phase of development is event planning for grassroots music events focused on building community, helping artists improve their live performance skills, networking with other artists and bridging the gap between emerging artists and professional performers.

We currently present have 4 recurring events:

1. The Irish Shebeen (Etobicoke) – 2nd Tuesday of the month

2. Cuchulainn’s Irish Pub (Streetsville, Mississauga)  – last Tuesday of the month

3. The Rec Room Open Stage Series (Mississauga) – quarterly event

4. Cineplex Junxion at Erin Mills Town Centre (Mississauga) - first Sat. of every month

We have also curated events for the Canadian Music Expo (annual event), and worked in collaboration with: The City of Mississauga, The Mississauga Arts Council, Canadian Community Arts Initiative (CCAI) and Mississauga Music.

Our Founder, Matt Zaddy (Zadkovich), has been running events of this nature for 10+ years and has seen the important impact it has on music culture, artist development, and growth of the music scene in general.

Phase 2

Our second phase (in the works) will focus on education opportunities for artists to further their understanding of the industry.  This will be a mix private music education (lessons & one on one sessions), public seminars, job shadowing, and more.  Start date tba
